What you get, which devices you need and where to begin.

Answers to questions when choosing ViON for home and business.

## What do I get with ViON Home?

Camera recordings on your device, everyday-language search and event viewing. Remote access and smart home connections can be selected separately.

## Do I need Home or Business?

Choose Home to record video and understand everyday events at home or a small site. Choose Business to review your own workflows, such as kitchen preparation or cargo movement in a warehouse. ViON Business is available for deployment.

## Do I need a subscription to record at home?

Home local recording does not require a mandatory cloud subscription. Video stays on your device. Remote access and other cloud features may have separate terms.

## Will my cameras work?

It depends on the model. Share the camera name and we will help check compatibility. Start with one camera before adding the rest. A confirmed model list has not yet been published.

## Can I use a phone app?

An App Store or Google Play app has not been announced. For remote viewing, ask about the available ViON Cloud connection and the terms for your version.

## Can the system be configured for our workflow?

Yes, this is part of ViON Business. Describe an important action and the use case will be configured and tested on examples from your site. Workflow-specific training is not part of Home.

## How do I start with ViON Business?

Describe one task: what to detect, where it happens and how you will use the result. We will agree on cost and an initial trial at your site. You can then decide whether to expand.

## Can I connect ViON to my smart home?

Home Assistant, HomeKit and MQTT integrations are available. They let you use camera events in home automations. Required features are checked for your system and chosen integration.

## Where will my video recordings be stored?

On your computer or server. Retention depends on available space and settings. Remote viewing and third-party connections, including data transfers, are discussed separately.

## Is ViON new cameras or software?

ViON is software for working with camera video. You need suitable cameras and a computer or server for recording and processing. Existing devices are checked for compatibility first.

## Can I start with one camera?

Yes. First test recording, viewing and relevant events on one suitable camera. Then it is easier to decide which cameras and features to add. For Business, the trial’s cost and scope are agreed separately.

## How much does ViON Business deployment cost?

Cost depends on the workflow, cameras, equipment and configuration scope. Describe your site, target events and camera count. Cost and scope are agreed before setup starts.
